Question one:
Tell me something interesting about yourself most people won’t already know.
A: Well by most people I am guessing you mean fellow pinups etc, as my friends and family pretty much know everything about me.

For those who don’t know me, I would say it’s my love for dinosaurs. That’s right, ROAR RAWR CHOMP BITEY dinosaurs!  In all honesty I have no idea why they fascinate me so much, they just do.

Growing up I desperately wanted to be a Palaeontologist, but never really had the grip on science and maths to follow that path.  Iinstead I watch Dino movies and documentaries and dream of the day I meet a time traveller who can take me back to see the real thing!

Question two:
Think about your favourite outfit; your favourite pair of shoes; your favourite suspender belt … whatever!  If that particular item in your pinup kit could talk, what story do you think it would be most likely to tell?
A: That’s a really hard one.  My favourite piece of clothing is a vintage 1950s black dress with white flocking on it.  It’s just too elegant!

If she could talk I think she would tell stories of when she was made and the fabulous evenings she went to in her hey-day. Then she would speak of her sadness when dropped into a secondhand store and how she was certain she would never find another home again.  That of course, was until I came along and wore her to several fantastic events.

Question three:
How is your preparation for the Miss Pinup NZ competition coming along?  Would you like to offer our readers any “teasers” with regard to your particular talent or your outfits for Miss Pinup NZ?
A:  I’m getting married two weeks before VVDO, but am managing to organise myself nicely for both. Thankfully the wedding is 90% sorted, so I can focus a bit more on Miss Pinup NZ.

My “talent” – well I hope to offer people a little glimpse into my personality, while maybe giving a couple of laughs.

Question four:
If you could pick a theme song to walk onto the Miss Pinup stage to, what would it be?
A: Easy! My sisters and I have a theme song and I would definitely pick that.  However, Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen may not fit the whole VVDO feel!

Question five:
If  you were to win Miss Pinup NZ 2015, how would you most likely celebrate your win from the options below:

a) I’d guzzle champagne through a gold-plated straw and get lightheaded and dizzy with all my friends.
b) Crank up the music and dance like crazy.
c) Enlist a flashmob and dance through the streets wearing your Miss Pinup NZ crown.
d) Take your crown on a road trip, Instagramming your antics all the way!
e) Go to a karaoke bar and sing your own praises.
f) Other (please specify!)
A:  I love all the above options, but would probably have to buy myself another Emma Domb dress. I LOVE, LOVE, Emma Domb and the idea of having two in my wardrobe is swoon-worthy!

Question six:
What is your most favourite item in your pinup kit, and why?
A:  Hmmmm, tough one but if I had to pick it would be any of my Besama lipsticks. They’re so vibrant and I adore how they wear.

And last, but certainly not least …

Question seven:
What are you most hoping to get out of the Miss Pinup NZ 2015 experience?
A:   Above all else, I honestly want to really have fun and enjoy myself.  Yes, winning would be AMAZEBALLS, but just being able to experience it and meeting all those fantastic contestants will be incredible.
Life is about enjoying yourself.  Be happy and have a blast!
